Eligibility Criteria to Join UKHCAThere are three types of UKHCA membership: Full MembershipFull membership is open to home care agencies which are legal entities, offering or arranging home care services on its own behalf and which - depending on size - may operate through branches. For this purpose, a “branch” is defined as an operating base which undertakes receives requests for services; organizes services; sells and promotes services or recruits home care workers. All Full members sign a declaration to state that they and their members agree to abide by the UKHCA Code of Practice and are the only part of membership entitled to vote at our Annual General Meeting. Affiliate MembershipAny society, association or body not being a home care organisation, but having similar or sympathetic objectives to the Association. Associate MembershipAny individual not engaged in the activity of a home care organisation.
