How to JoinWe’ve tried to make joining UKHCA straightforward, while still ensuring that we only offer membership to providers who can meet our Code of Practice. Please check our eligibility criteria to decide which type of membership is most suitable. (Organisations that provide home care are required to become ‘Full Members’). If you are a home care agency, or are setting one up, please ensure that you read, understand and are willing to comply with our Code of Practice To join you can download an application form or contact us on 020 8288 5291 to have our membership application pack sent to you. The pack includes the scale of fees below, the appropriate forms to take advantage of our monthly payment facility and explains what documents you will need to return to UKHCA. Membership Rates
Full MembershipFull Membership of UKHCA is open to homecare organisations that provide personal or nursing care services, or support services to people in their own homes. Associate MembershipAssociate membership is only open to individuals not directly engaged in the activity of an organisation that would qualify for full membership. An individual can not join UKHCA as an associate member if their employing organisation would be eligible for full membership. Affiliate MembershipAffiliate membership is open to any organisation that does not qualify for full membership but has simular or sympathetic objectives to UKHCA. * Monthly Payment Facility, subject to a completed agreement form, is provided by Premium Credit Ltd, Premium Credit House, 6 East Street, Epsom KT171HB. APR 17.4% (variable) written quotations available on request. Conditions apply. Contact 020 8288 5291 for more details. Home care agencies are required to be trading at the time they join. This means that the organisation has at least one service user and one care worker. Providers in England, Scotland and Wales will be required to provide their certificate of registration from their statutory regulator. The statutory regulator in Northern Ireland is not yet operational. Organisations seeking full membership may also be asked to provide additional information in support of their application, at UKHCA’s request.
