Types of Membership and fees
UKHCA
has two types of membership:
Full Membership
Full membership is open to home care agencies in the independent, voluntary and
statutory sectors, who offer or arrange home care or similar services such as home
nursing, housing support or domestic care on its own behalf and which may operate
through one or more branches. For this purpose a ‘branch’ is defined
as an operating base which receives requests for services; organises services; sells
and promotes services or recruits home care workers.
All Full members sign a declaration to state that they and their branches agree
to abide by the
UKHCA Code of Practice and are entitled to receive the full range
of membership benefits that are available.
Annual payment may be made by cheque made payable to UKHCA, BACS, annual direct debit or credit card.
Organisations seeking membership will be asked to provide additional information
in support of their application, including a copy of their certificate of registration
with their statutory regulator, where appropriate.
Those providers that have not yet completed their registration with the appropriate

Providers that do not have to register with the statutory regulator will be asked
to provide additional information as outlined on the application form.

Commercial Membership
UKHCA is delighted to announce the rebranding of affiliate and associate membership
to commercial membership. Commercial membership is for those that have an interest
in home or community care and those that provide commercial/trade services to the
sector.
Commercial members can expect an exclusive package of benefits that will include:
- Automatic insert to the consultants and suppliers directory on the UKHCA website.

- Regular email alerts providing you with up to date sector developments

Commercial membership is based on an annual subscription.
Cost of membership is £390 inclusive of VAT.
