European Social Fund (ESF) Project (England) Engaging Employers In Homecare (2005-2007)IntroductionUKHCA is delighted to announce that it has been awarded nearly £800,000 from the European Social Fund for a three year project that is to be delivered in Objective 3 areas of England (excludes Cornwall, Wirral and South Yorkshire). The project will address the need to update and up-skill home care workers, with a special focus on isolated, small and medium sized organisations within the independent sector in England currently not engaged in training. Details01/10/2007IntroductionThe project is now coming to its last three months and will close on 31st December 2007. Over the final three months, work will be taking place to ensure that those who received funding within the project have completing their training. The work of the Regional Development Managers will be winding down, although there is still limited availability for assistance within the project. Regional Development Managers (RDMs)We still have two Regional Development Managers working on the project. One based in the north of England, one based in the south.
