Welcome to the new home of the UKHCA Costing Model
This costing model is designed to assist any provider in the calculation of a fair
price for social care services. The model is designed to provide an indication of
the rate to be charged and is not indicative of a definitive value.
This model is to be used for a guide price only
There are currently 2 modules available:
The
revised per hour
model provides provides an in depth opportunity to calculate a minimum acceptable charge per hour by using specific known variables. Use this module if, as an organisation, you are confident that realistic values are known, if not, use the breakeven module to calculate the appropriate values. provides a more in depth opportunity to calculate a minimum acceptable charge by using specific variables.
The
breakeven module
allows for a comprehensive analysis of costs that can be used in providing information
and data that can be used for per hour module.
The cells shaded in yellow are for the input of data. This data is used in calculations
