Extension of free personal care in Scotland to the under 65s? 09/06/2017

The Scottish Government is carrying out a feasibility study into the extension of free personal and nursing care to the under 65s. The study was initially for those with dementia and then widened to cover personal care for people under 65 generally. 

The aims of the study are to provide robust estimates of the cost and assess potential implications of this policy. Members of the public are invited to send their views to adultsocialcare@gov.scot or by post to: Adult Social Care Policy Team, Scottish Government,
St Andrew's House, Regent Road, Edinburgh, EH1 3DG. Closing date 2 July 2017.
