Specimen Terms and Conditions Relating to the Supply of Care Services

This document is available to UKHCA members only. Information on how to join UKHCA.

UKCHAs Specimen Terms and Conditions have been designed as a free service to UKHCA member organisations. Once edited and individualised for your business they can be used to promote a fair and mutually beneficial relationship with service users funding their own care, or using a direct payment or personal budget.

This version of the Specimen Terms and Conditions are for use by providers supplying a managed care service, where the provider instructs their careworkers what to do and how they should do it (for example by giving them policies and procedures to follow). This version will be used by most homecare agencies, except those acting as an employment agency, providing an “introduction-only” service. You should download both of the following documents. This version has been updated (September 2014) to reflect the 14 day cancellation period described in http://www.ukhca.co.uk/downloads.aspx?ID=251 and various other changes. See the guidance for a full description of the changes, and what to do if you are using the older version.
