Complaints Briefing on LGO Requirements

This document is available to UKHCA members only. Information on how to join UKHCA.

Anthony Collins Solicitors LLP have issued a complaints ebriefing to help members in England comply with CQC's Essential Standards Outcome 17. This requires service providers to amend their complaints policies and procedures to inform service users that, if they remain unhappy after their complaint has been dealt with, they can take their complaint to the Local Government Ombudsman (LGO) where applicable. The complaints ebriefing includes wording supplied by the LGO that can be added by members to complaints procedures and/or in closing letters.
