Who Cares Now? (England)

"Who Cares Now?" a wide-reaching profile of England's Homecare providers and their workforce was published by UKHCA in June 2005. Among the findings of the research are that 72% of publicly funded Homecare comes from the independent sector, while there has been a considerable reduction in privately purchased care. "Who Cares Now?" builds on the first and only previous survey of the Homecare sector, undertaken in 2000. The report is available free from UKHCA thanks to funding from Skills for Care and the Department of Health.
