Daily Average Hours Agreement - revised version March 2015

This document is available to UKHCA members only. Information on how to join UKHCA.

The UKHCA National Minimum Wage Toolkit contains a suggestion that where staff undertake unmeasured work (usually live-in careworkers or staff working on-call) a daily average agreement should be used unless all hours worked are recorded (paragraph 57). Anthony Collins Solicitors LLP have produced a specimen daily average agreement for the use of UKHCA members, with guidance and checklist. We recommend that members take legal advice if they want help on adapting the agreement to suit their business or if they have specific requirements. The agreement is available in Microsoft Word. A revised version of this agreement was uploaded in March 2015 which includes changes to NMW legislation. This replaces the February 2014 version.
