An Employer's Guide to the Prevention of Illegal Working - now updated

Penalties were introduced for employers of illegal workers employed on or after 29 February 2008, as well as requirements for employers should meet to avoid these penalties. These penalties and requirements apply in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Douglas Mullen of Anthony Collins Solicitors LLP explains the changes in his revised Employer's Guide to the Prevention of Illegal Working, which has now been updated in July 2013.
