Updated - Writing an adult safeguarding policy for homecare services in England

This document is available to UKHCA members only. Information on how to join UKHCA.

This updated guidance has been designed to help your organisation write or review your own safeguarding policy so that if an incident occurs, everyone understands what steps should be taken.

As with other policies and procedures, carrying out a regular audit of your safeguarding policy is essential. This document includes a suggested safeguarding audit, posing questions which should help you keep your policies up to date.

This guidance compliments UKHCA’s Safeguarding training.
