Homecarer March 2020

Social care funding remains a prominently discussed issue in the sector and in January UKHCA launched the Minimum Price for Homecare for April 2020-March 2021. Read more on the £20.69 calculation on pages 4-7. Our members' forums are now under way and we've enjoyed meeting the many homecare providers who make up our membership. UKHCA's CEO Jane Townson has also had a busy few weeks, which has included visiting Wales and Northern Ireland (pages 8-9). Elsewhere, the Information Commissioner's Office talk about data protection (page 13), Anthony Collins LLP give advice on how to plan for a crisis (pages 10-11) and we feature a host of tips for living a healthier life when older (pages 16- 17).
