As we are emerging from the first, emergency phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are turning our thoughts to the future.

Jane Townson UKHCA's CEO was joined by an expert panel for our members' webinar to discuss: Future of homecare - COVID-19 and beyond, held on Wednesday 17 June 2020.

Topics discussed included

  • Government thinking on the future of social care and the role of homecare within it, and how this has been influenced by COVID19
  • Views on the impact of COVID-19 on the homecare market now and in the future and the appetite for investment
  • The state-funded homecare market as we emerge from COVID-19 and how homecare could develop in future
  • The future for the private pay homecare market and developments in services for people who fund their own care
  • The housing with care market, how it has fared through COVID-19 and the risks and opportunities for the future.
