Full membership is open to home care agencies in the independent, voluntary and
statutory sectors, who offer or arrange home care or similar services such as home
nursing, housing support or domestic care on its own behalf and which may operate
through one or more branches. For this purpose a ‘branch’ is defined
as an operating base which receives requests for services; organises services; sells
and promotes services or recruits home care workers.
All Full members sign a declaration to state that they and their branches agree
to abide by the
UKHCA Code of Practice and are entitled to receive the full range
of membership benefits that are available.

Organisations seeking membership will be asked to provide additional information
in support of their application, including a copy of their certificate of registration
with their statutory regulator, where appropriate.
