New look UKHCA website

On Monday 14th March 2016 the UKHCA website was updated with a new version.

Rest assured - all content, documents etc. remain and are still accessible. If you are a UKHCA member then your existing login details will also work as normal. Please be aware that the UKHCA's Disclosure Service part of the website is unaffected by the change and so will remain unchanged and in the current styling.

The change in appearance of UKHCA's website is the first phase of a larger commitment to updating our online infrastructure, so that we may better serve our members and those that use the UKHCA website. As such, whilst at present the majority of the website's content is unchanged, it will be updated as part of future site improvements.

New design and navigation

The website has undergone a comprehensive re-design of the layout and navigation system, with the aim of making it easier to use on everything from phones through to TVs and on all modern web browsers.

Accessibility has underpinned the whole redesign, as the new site is viewable in different languages and offers many other new features to make navigation as easy as possible.

We have also made it easier for members of the public seeking care to contact UKHCA members by improving the search results page and placing a search form to find care providers on the homepage. Indeed the homepage layout and functionality has dramatically changed with the addition of latest news and workshops feeds.

New functionality

In addition to Google Translate, visitors to the site are able to do more than ever online. New members can apply online and workshop places can also be booked and purchased online.
