Ipsos MORI survey into the social care and childcare sector workforce in WalesIpsos MORI survey into the social care and childcare sector workforce in Wales

Welsh Government has commissioned Ipsos MORI to undertake research to understand more about the staff who are working in the social care and childcare sectors. Its purpose is to consider the current contribution of non-UK EU staff, the level of qualifications across the sector, the recruitment challenges as well as the many other issues that are affecting the sectors in Wales.

This survey has been endorsed by Social Care Wales, Care Forum Wales, RCN and UKHCA and has received support from ADSSCymru and the WLGA.

Ipsos MORI need as many providers as possible to take part in the survey.

All providers in this sector should have recently received an email or letter through the post with a unique code to link to the survey. This is a unique link for each provider so that ipsos MORI can accurately monitor response rates and can check that quotas for different types of settings are met. Telephone interviews are also being undertaken to maximise the response rate.

If yo have misplaced the unique code, or have any questions, you can contact the research team at Ipsos MORI by email: or telephone: 0808 238 5376.

The survey deadline is: Monday 7 January 2019
