CQC amend guidance on requirement to display ratingsCQC amend guidance on requirement to display ratings

In April 2015, it became a legal requirement (Regulation 20A) for registered providers to display their CQC rating once received.

Ratings must be displayed at each location used for providing or managing regulated services and on the website (if there is one).

CQC have recently made a minor amendment to their guidance. The amendment makes clear that if CQC assess that your rating is not displayed as required, they will follow their enforcement policy to decide their response.

The regulation also sets out what must be included in the displayed information.

 CQC has developed posters and digital products to help providers do this easily
