CQC announces new Chief Inspector of Adult Social CareCQC announces new Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care

The Care Quality Commission has announced today that it  has appointed Kate Terroni as Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care. Kate will start the role in May, taking over from Debbie Westhead who has been interim Chief Inspector since Andrea Sutcliffe's departure in December last year.

Kate is a registered social worker and is currently Director of Social Care at Oxfordshire County Council where she has embedded coproduction in adult social care throughout the county and provided clear leadership across the health and care system.
