Employers' contribution for furloughed staff rises from 1 SeptemberEmployers' contribution for furloughed staff rises from 1 September

Changes to the UK's Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (furlough scheme) mean employers have to pay 10% of wages of furloughed staff from 1 September, and in October, 20%. National insurance and employer pension contributions were payable from 1 August 2020. The scheme closes at the end of October.
