Mandatory MOT testing to resume from 1 AugustMandatory MOT testing to resume from 1 August

The Government has announced mandatory MOT tests for car, motorcycle and van owners in England, Scotland and Wales will be resumed from 1 August. Drivers are encouraged to book a test in advance to ensure vehicles are in a roadworthy condition.

Vehicle owners with an MOT due date between 30 March 2020 and 31 July 2020 will still receive a 6-month exemption, but must ensure their vehicle is in a roadworthy condition.
