New guidance for day centres on opening after lockdownNew guidance for day centres on opening after lockdown

Social clubs and community centres in England are allowed to open again from 4 July, so day centres need to make their services safe and reduce the risks of infection to service users and staff.

Research organisation NIHR ARC South London has co-produced free guidance that aims to support managers or volunteer co-ordinators of day centres to plan for a 'new normal'. It has two parts covering the practicalities of opening and a Word document that aims to prompt reflection on the lockdown.

The resource, 'Helping adult day centres to - unlock lockdown' is free and can be downloaded from www.kcl.ac.uk/scwru/res/ARC-SL/unlock-lockdown.aspx.

NIHR ARC South London would appreciate feedback on the document's usefulness.
