Free flu vaccination will be available to shielded patients and their household, pupils up to year 7, people over 65, pregnant women, those with pre-existing conditions, including at-risk under 2s, plus people aged 50 to 64. The campaign will start in September.

Frontline health and social care workers will be urged to get vaccinated. We await further details on how this will be accessed and will provide an update when information is available. Previously circulated information on the vaccination programme is available here.

Public Health England are in the process of preparing marketing materials for flu vaccinations. This includes posters, information leaflets, shield shaped stickers for staff to show that they have been vaccinated and digital resources.

An order form for printed materials for use with staff is available here. Orders will be distributed from week commencing 24th August to mid-September.

From mid to late August digital resources and campaign resources relevant to the general public (including service users) will be available via the Public Health England Campaign Resource Centre
