Many over 75s have to pay for TV licences from 1 AugustMany over 75s have to pay for TV licences from 1 August

Some people of 75 years or older who previously had a free TV licence will have to pay from 1 August 2020. A free licence will still be available for those who receive Pension Credit, or their partner living at the same address.

More information about TV licensing which states people who had a free TV Licence up to 31 July 2020, don't need to do anything now to stay licensed. Starting in August, they will be writing to people to explain what they need to do to set up their next licence.
