Phased lockdown relaxations continue in WalesPhased lockdown relaxations continue in Wales

A series of changes are being made to relax lockdown restrictions in Wales.

From 3 August, restrictions preventing more than two households or extended households meeting outdoors have been removed so up to 30 people can meet outdoors, provided physical distancing is maintained.

Pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes and certain other venues can re-open indoors.

Children under 11 no longer have to maintain a 2 metres distance from each other or from adults. Older children and young adults must continue to follow social distancing and the other measures to keep safe.

The reopening of swimming pools, indoor gyms, leisure centres and children’s indoor play areas is planned from 10 August.
