Care home visiting rules relaxed in ScotlandCare home visiting rules relaxed in Scotland

Care home residents can have up to three outdoor visitors from no more than two households provided their home meets strict criteria, with infection control measures remaining in place. The new measures in Scotland are subject to the home being COVID-19 free, weekly staff testing being in place, and face coverings being worn by visitors. There are special provisions on developing plans for allowing one indoor visitor, and end of life visits.
