Lockdown easements and higher fines for not wearing face masksLockdown easements and higher fines for not wearing face masks

The Prime Minister has announced that the next stage of lockdown easements will go ahead in England on 15 August 2020.

This will mean that higher risk venues such as bowling alleys, indoor soft play centres and tatto salons will be able to reopen. Wedding receptions will be able to take place with up to 30 peopel and indoor performances with socially distanced audiences will recommence.

The Prime Minister also announced that there would be higher fines for those who repeatedly flout face covering rules and new fines would be introduced for people holding unlawful gatherings of over 30 people.
