Last month the Contact Tracing Service (CTS) moved to a 'digital first' model which provides an online self-service contact tracing for the majority of people who test positive.
People with a positive test result will receive a text message with a personal code which they can use at a dedicated website to input details of people with whom they were in recent close proximity. These contacts will then be quickly alerted to self-isolate.
There is an easy which guide explains how to use the digital contact tracing service 'digital self-trace' if you have tested positive for COVID-19.
