Important consultation on enshrining integrated care systems in legislationImportant consultation on enshrining integrated care systems in legislation

NHS England has published an important consultation outlining the rationale and proposed next steps for legislation aimed at building strong and effective integrated care systems across England. The document Integrating care - Next steps to building strong and effective integrated care systems sets out two options for enshrining ICSs in legislation.

The so-called 'NHS Bill' could lead to substantial changes to ways of working across the health and care system in future, so homecare providers need to be aware of this. UKHCA has emailed members to ask for their views, so we can include them in our consultation response. To comment, please take the survey included in our email alert of 7 December by 16 December 2020.

To respond direct to the consultation, see the NHS online survey at: https://www.engage.england.nhs.uk/survey/building-a-strong-integrated-care-system/ which closes on 8 January 2021.
