The Minister for Health and Social Services in Wales has announced that the arrangements for discharge have been updated. This means that if a person tests positive but has a Cycle Threshold number of 35 or above they are no longer deemed to be infectious and (if they meet other criteria such as having been free from fever for three days, other symptoms showing improvement and 14 days having elabsed since the last positive test/onset of symptoms) they can return home without being considered to pose a risk to others
