The definition of 'close contact', for the purposes of what happens if a person tests positive for coronavirus or has had close contact with someone who has tested positive, has changed to having been within 2 metres of someone for more than 15 minutes (either as a one-off contact, or added up together over one day) ie cumulative contact.
