The Welsh Government have announced that the £500 self isolation support payment, available to those on low incomes (announced in November) , will be extended so that those who were notified of a contact via the NHS App can claim.
The payment is intended to support those who are unable to work due to a self isolation requirement, and currently have a low income (i.e. either in receipt of certain benefits such as Universal Credit or have their application accepted under the discretion of the local authority reviewing their case).
