Update regarding lockdown in WalesUpdate regarding lockdown in Wales

The First Minister has announced that the lockdown will continue a further three weeks. However, there will be some changes including:

  • younger children and some of those requiring practical learning returning to school from 22 February
  • up to 4 people from 2 households allowed to meet to exercise in a public place from 20 February
  • wedding venues allowed to open for weddings from 1 March
  • talented athletes to resume training
  • care home visiting guidance will be reviewed.

A strategy document has also been published outlining a Coronavirus control plan for coming out of lockdown.
