Health and Sport Secretary Jeane Freeman has given an update on vaccination. As of 19 February, 1,386,152 people had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination and 29,015 people have received the second dose.
287,800 frontline health and social care workers have been vaccinated, exceeding the initial target provided by Health Boards.
The update describes preparations to identify and vaccinate the next cohort, cohort 6, which comprises people aged 16-64 years with underlying health conditions and unpaid carers.
