The Northern Ireland Executive has published its pathway out of COVID-19 restrictions, which describes a staged approach to lifting restrictions.
The Pathway outlines nine pathways each of which has five phases, covering areas such as home and community, work, retail and services, education and young people etc. The approach to lifting restrictions will involve monitoring, reviewing and implementing changes to see what effect they have on health, community and economic trends. The pathway does not contain a timetable.
The first easings will be in education, and the Executive's next review of the Coronavirus Regulations is due to take place on 16 March, as part of a four weekly review cycle.
