The Health and Social Care Secretary has asked NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I) to adopt advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) to prioritise household contacts of the severely immunosuppressed for vaccination, alongside priority group 6 in phase 1 of the vaccination programme.
