Easing of restrictions accelerated in ScotlandEasing of restrictions accelerated in Scotland

The Scottish Government has accelerated the easing of restrictions. From 16 April, six people from six households are allowed to meet outdoors, and travel within Scotland is permitted for outdoor socialising, recreation and exercise. People must still stay local for other purposes such as non-essential shopping, and public transport.

Accelerated easing of restrictions

If the data permits, the whole of Scotland, including all island communities, should be in Level 3 from 26 April and move to Level 2 from 17 May. Local protection levels
