The lack of a fully-costed, long-term plan for social care could undermine the success of integration with the NHS, according to a group of MPs.

In a report on the Government's White Paper on health and social care reform, the Health and Social Care Committee concluded that integrated care systems could be destabilised without such proposals.

The Committee added that they would be 'extremely disappointed' if a comprehensive plan was not announced by the end of 2021.
