Reshaping health and social care with data - consultation closes 23 JulyReshaping health and social care with data - consultation closes 23 July

The Government have published a draft of a new policy paper Data saves lives: reshaping health and social care with data for consultation.

The survey closes at 5pm on 23 July

Section four of the strategy focuses on improving adult social care data (in England).

Amongst other things, the proposals include:

  • Delivering training opportunities to improve the data and digital literacy of the adult social care workforce.
  • NHSx to accelerate the adoption of digital social care records among care providers.
  • The introduction of legislation to require information from all adult social care providers.
  • Work to improve confidence in the commissioning and purchase of care technology, support a vibrant marketplace, and evaluate how data from care technology can improve the quality of care.
